Manali literally means the ‘Home of Manu’. Legend has it that when a flood deluged the earth, Manu and the gods were towed to dry ground by a giant fish, which was the seventh `avatar’ of the god Vishnu. The area where Manu eventually found refuge was Manali. He then came to Manali and recreated human life. Thus, the area of Manali is sacred and Hindus treat the temples over here as pilgrimage and its name finds mention in various epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata as well as Vishnu Purana.
Shimla or Simla is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is a very popular holiday-retreat during the summer months and is well-known for its Victorian architecture, which is reflected in certain areas of the Mall and The Ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon.
Apart from being the capital city of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh is the first planned city of India. The union territory is situated near the foothills of the Shivalik mountain range of the Himalayas.
Also called the city beautiful, Chandigarh was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. Apart from the city’s architecture and buildings like Capitol Complex, High Court, Secretariat, Legislative Assembly and giant Open Hand Monument, it is also famous for its clean roads and greenery. Chandigarh is also credited of being the third cleanest city in the country under Swachh Bharat survey of 2018.
Day 01: Delhi – Shimla (380 Kms)
On Arrival at Delhi our transporter will meet you and transfer by car to Shimla Enroute Pinjore Garden .Arrive Shimla by evening , check in hotel . Evening free to visit Mall Road after refreshment . Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel
Day 02: Shimla (Full Day trip to Kufri & Local )
After Breakfast proceed for Full day sight seeing Visit a must-visit place. Placed at an altitude of 2290 m above the sea level, Kufri is blessed with tranquility, scenery and is dotted with tourist attractions like Mahasu Peak, Chini Bunglow, Indira Tourist Park etc. When back in Shimla, visit the Vice Regal Lodge- once the summer residence of various British viceroys, it boasts of an interesting English Renaissance architecture. Thereafter in the evening, enjoy a leisure walk on the Mall Road. Delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Shimla – Manali
After Break fast Drive from Shimla to Manali.Enroute visit Kullu. Evening Checkin hotel.Free to visit Mall Road.Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Manali (local sightseeing )
After Breakfast go for Half Day sightseeing of Local Manali including Hadimba Temple, Vashist Temple, Club House, Monasteries,e.t.c. Evening Free for leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel .
Day 05: Manali (Full day trip to Solang Valley)
After Breakfast Full day excursion visiting Solang Valley the most visited tourist spot .Evening back to hotel.Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 :Manali – Chandigarh
Early morning after having breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive back to Chandigarh by evening reaches at Chandigarh Rose Garden / Rock Garden / Sukhna Lake and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 07: Chandigarh – Delhi departure
Early morning after have breakfast checkout from the hotel drive back to Delhi and transfer to railway station/airport.
