The main draw of Srinagar, the gondola-type rowboats – Shikaras are used by the tourists to see attractions like the Floating Vegetable Market, and the Mir Bahris – a lively community of people who live on the lake itself. Known as the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar is home to some of the most exquisite Mughal-age gardens in India, with the top attractions being Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashm–E-Shahi Garden.
Kashmiri cuisine is famous all over the globe, so when in Srinagar, trying out the local dishes, which are rich in unique fragrant spices, is a must. Srinagar is also famous for the Kashmiri shawls, Kashmiri apples and the dried fruits (almonds and walnuts) which can be bought from the Lal Chowk Marke
Day 01: Arrival Srinagar Airport – Houseboat Dal-Lake :
Welcome to Kashmir, the Land of Paradise!!! Our Representative meet & Greet you on Arrival at Srinagar Airport & accompanies you to Dal-Lake en-route,After that Check inn at Houseboat, Refresh & Explore Dal-Lake by going on Shikara/Boat ride (Maximum 01 hour’s ride Complementary) & visit these famous Points which are only accessible through Shikara, like, Nehru Park & Floating Gardens. By evening back to houseboat for Dinner & Overnight stay
Day 02: Srinagar– Gulmarg (Approx. 140 kms 4-5 hours Journey) :
After breakfast Check out from the Hotel then drive to Gulmarg, Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes, Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 03: Gulmarg – Pahalgam (Approx. 150 kms 4-5 hours Journey) :
After breakfast visit to Aparwath by Asia’s largest cable car (Gondola tickets at Your Own Cost) then drive to Pahalgam, En-route, visiting the saffron fields of Pampore, Apple Valley, Bat factory and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Drive through the pine forests, local sightseeing around awesome scenery of Pahalgam and mind relaxing view of river Lidder, Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 04: Full Day of Pahalgam Local Sightseeing:
After breakfast visit famous local sightseeing of Pahalgam like Betaab valley, Aru valley and Chandanwari (Vehicle at your own cost) & do adventure activity like River Rafting (Tickets at Your Own Cost), by evening back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05: Pahalgam – Srinagar + Half day Local Sightseeing of Mughal Gardens (90 Kms, 02 – 03 Hours Journey):
Breakfast at 08:00Am & get ready up to 9:00 Am, Check out from Hotel & drive to Srinagar En-route, visiting Apple tree Garden & Awantipuram Ruins, Take Lunch(Optional) & check inn at Hotel, freshen up & visit half day Local Sightseeing of Mughal Gardens like Nishat-Bagh & Shalimar-Bagh then visit other sightseeing like Chashama Shahi, Parimahal & Shankarchariya Temple. By Evening back to Hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06 In Srinagar | Day Excursion to Sonamarg (90 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)
Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque ‘meadow of gold’ Sonomarg. The fast flowing Sindh river makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Return to the Hotel in Srinagar in the evening and enjoy comfortable : Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at Sonomarg car stand. To reach the glaciers, you can hire ponies by your own payment basis.
Day 07: Local City Tour & Departure Srinagar Airport:
Breakfast at 7:00Am & get ready for Personal activities like shopping/ local city tour like Jamia Masjid, Hazratbal Shrine and Hariparbat Fort. Check out from hotel after freshen up & drive towards Srinagar airport, drop two hours prior to departure of the flight.
