Manali literally means the ‘Home of Manu’. Legend has it that when a flood deluged the earth, Manu and the gods were towed to dry ground by a giant fish, which was the seventh `avatar’ of the god Vishnu. The area where Manu eventually found refuge was Manali. He then came to Manali and recreated human life. Thus, the area of Manali is sacred and Hindus treat the temples over here as pilgrimage and its name finds mention in various epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata as well as Vishnu Purana.
Shimla or Simla is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is a very popular holiday-retreat during the summer months and is well-known for its Victorian architecture, which is reflected in certain areas of the Mall and The Ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon.
Chandigarh was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. Apart from the city’s architecture and buildings like Capitol Complex, High Court, Secretariat, Legislative Assembly and giant Open Hand Monument, it is also famous for its clean roads and greenery.
Day 01: Chandigarh – Manali
On Arrival at Chandigarh our transporter will meet you and transfer by car to Manali Arrive Manali by evening , check in hotel . Evening free to visit Mall Road after refreshment . Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel
Day 02: Manali (local sightseeing )
After Breakfast go for Half Day sightseeing of Local Manali including Hadimba Temple, Vashist Temple, Club House, Monasteries,e.t.c. Evening Free for leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel .
Day 03: Manali (Full day trip to Solang Valley)
After Breakfast Full day excursion visiting Solang Valley the most visited tourist spot .Evening back to hotel.Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 :Manali – Chandigarh
Early morning after having breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive back to Chandigarh by evening reaches at Chandigarh Rose Garden / Rock Garden / Sukhna Lake and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 05: Chandigarh –departure
Early morning after have breakfast checkout from the hotel drive back to chandigarh and transfer to railway station/airport.
